Tomorrow at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, the 2025 Royal Rumble is going down and will feature virtually every active Superstar on the WWE roster.
At stake is a championship opportunity at WrestleMania for the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match winners.
The Royal Rumble main event matches feature 30 wrestlers that enter the ring every 90 seconds based on a random draw. We use the term random loosely as the order, like all other wrestling outcomes, is predetermined.
Fans and gamblers can expect some big names within the first few entrants and then several wrestlers at the top of the card among the final five.
Wrestlers are eliminated by going over the top rope and hitting the floor with both feet. This can occur by being thrown out by another competitor or via a self-imposed ejection.
Betting On Pro Wrestling
Sports betting in the United States is limited to pro and college games and matches. There is no law prohibiting local books from offering odds on pro wrestling outcomes, but they’ve refrained from doing so due to the scripted nature of the results.
We’ve yet to see any WWE betting lines posted at domestic books, but offshore sports betting sites have begun specializing in this niche option over the last five years or so.
BetOnline and BetUS usually offer lines on any upcoming pro wrestling match that has been announced ahead of the date it occurs. Since the Royal Rumble isn’t a traditional match and so many players are involved, sportsbooks can create odds well in advance without needing a specific announcement regarding who will be included.
With just over 24 hours to go until the Premium Live Event begins, sportsbooks have better insight into who will be a part of each match and which Superstars will win based on the most recent developments.
Betting On The Men’s Royal Rumble Winner
For the men’s winner, sports betting sites are split on who they favor. Seth “Freakin” Rollins and John Cena are tied for the best odds at BetUS, but Cena stands alone at the top of the Royal Rumble futures at BetOnline.
Lingering near the top of the men’s futures at both books is CM Punk. Despite his storied career with the promotion, for one reason or another, he’s yet to be a part of the main event at WrestleMania.
Betting On The Women’s Royal Rumble Winner
Charlotte Flair is favored to win the women’s Royal Rumble match at both sites. She leads the nearest Superstar (Becky Lynch) by 200 points in the moneyline odds at BetUS and is ahead of Biana Belair by 180 points at BetOnline.
Charlotte has been absent from the WWE since December 2023, when she suffered a massive knee injury that required surgery on her MCL, ACL, and meniscus.
Flair is a perennial main eventer, so it would make sense for her to return to the spotlight after being out of action for nearly 14 months.
